Grand Rapids moves up one, Muskegon still 17, Oakland enters latest NJCAA Division II volleyball poll

After defeating Muskegon Community College last week, the Grand Rapids Community College volleyball team moved up one spot to number seven in the latest NJCAA Division II women's volleyball poll. The Raiders are 17-2 overall and 10-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They won their only match last week defeating Muskegon in five sets. They will return to action tonight when they will host Lake Michigan College. 

Muskegon Community College remains 17th in the rankings this week. The Jayhawks are 21-9 overall and in second place in the MCCAA Western Conference with a 10-2 record. They went 1-1 last week losing to Muskegon Community College and beating Glen Oaks Community College. They will return to action on Thursday when they host Lake Michigan College. 

Oakland Community College enters the poll for the first time this season in the other schools receiving votes category. The Raiders are 12-5 overall and 7-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They were 4-0 last week, defeating St. Clair County Community College, Mott Community College and Alpena Community College twice. They will return to the court tonight when the host Schoolcraft College.
