Macomb men's basketball cracks top five in this week's NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll
The Macomb Community College men’s basketball team moved up one spot to number five in this week's NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Poll. The Monarchs won their last two games against Kalamazoo Valley Community College and defending National Champions and then number three South Suburban leaving them with a record of 12-3.

The Macomb Community College men's basketball team moved up one spot to number five in this week's NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Poll. The Monarchs won their last two games against Kalamazoo Valley Community College and defending National Champions and then number three South Suburban leaving them with a record of 12-3. The Monarchs will be hosting their next two contests against Schoolcraft College on January 14th at 3:00 PM and number six Henry Ford College on January 18th at 7:30 PM to open MCCAA Eastern Conference play.
Henry Ford College men's basketball team moved up six spots in this week's poll, the Hawks are currently ranked sixth and have a record of 8-4. The Hawks won their last two contests beating Rochester College JV and then second ranked Niagara County Community College. The Hawks next contests against Wayne County Community College on January 14th at 3:00 PM followed by a game against number five Macomb Community College on January 18th at 7:30 PM will open MCCAA Eastern Conference play.
St. Clair County Community College men's basketball team moved up two places from the previous ranking of the polls and are now ranked seventh. The Skippers have a record of 14-1 and won their last two contests against Glen Oaks Community College and Muskegon Community College. The Skippers will open MCCAA Eastern Conference play with next contests against 20th ranked Mott Community College on January 14th at 3:00 PM and Oakland Community College on January 18th at 7:30 PM.
Lakeland Community College men's basketball team moved up one spot to number 12 in this week's poll. The Lakers have a conference record of 4-0 and an overall record of 11-3 winning their last two games against Bryant & Stratton College and Erie Community College. The Lakers will be playing Lorain County Community College on January 11th at 7:30 PM followed by a game against Clark State Community College on January 14th at 1:00 PM.
Mott Community College men's basketball team has a record of 12-3 and have re-entered the top 20 at number 2-. The Bears won their last two contests against Delta College and North Central Michigan College. The Bears will open MCCAA Eastern Conference play by traveling to their next contests against number seven St. Clair County Community College on January 14th at 3:00 PM and Schoolcraft College on January 18th at 7:30 PM.
Hocking College men's basketball team has an overall record of 14-3 and a conference record of 3-1. The Hawks are amongst the other teams receiving votes this week. The Hawks won their last two games against Marian University's Ancilla College and Bryant & Stratton College. The Hawks will be playing in their next two contests against Edison State Community College on January 11th at 7:30 PM and Division III number two Owens Community College on January 14th at 3:00 PM.
