No. 1 Kellogg Puts Power on Display, Wins 2026 Region 12 Baseball Championship
JACKSON, Mich. – In a dominant display from start to finish, Kellogg Community College proved why they are the nation's No. 1 team with a 26-7 decision over Cuyahoga Community College in the title game to capture the 2026 Region XII Division II Baseball Championship.
The win sends the Bruins back to Enid, Okla., for the third time in as many seasons as the Region XII representative at the NJCAA Division II World Series.
The Bruins massive title game win followed run-rule triumphs throughout the tournament, beginning with a 2-0 sweep in the best-of-three series over Kalamazoo Valley Community College by scores of 11-0 (6 inn.) and 10-2 (7 inn.). A 15-7 win over Grand Rapids in eight innings kicked off Kellogg's time in Jackson while a 13-5 win over Macomb in seven innings sent the Bruins to the championship game.
